Started playing in high school in the"MONARCHS".playing piano and then bought a Farfisa organ. This was the middle 60's playing Uconn and clubs in Ct.. One day I heard the mighty Hammond B3 and that was life altering. Played 60's 70's with "The Good Grief" and later with a NY band called" THE HIP POCKET". I later had a club called "THE STUDIO" in the Berkshires and had my own band called "SASAFRAS" and an 8 track recording studio. Went to Ft. Lauderdale and opened BRT Studios and recorded bands like "EXPOSE".Expanded our 24 track studio into video and went into it full time.Worked in Las Vegas 2 years in TV production and recently moved to Philly area. I still have my original B3 and currently playing Triton/ NORD C1 and Roland keyboards ; recording on Nuendo some of my own originals.
Dave got it all started playing Beatles music at an early age
He played a few years with graffiti art legend and funky bass player "Blade" in Bronx, New York.
Blade told him, he was the funkiest guitarist & singer, he had played with covering such artists as, Rick James, EW&F, KC, Prince, & the BeeGees, Dave made quite a name for himself in New York’s live club scene.
Honing his skills as a master rhythm guitarist, as opposed to others who concentrate on playing leads all over the tunes, Dave found himself , very much in demand. He is also a strong vocalist with a very expansive range
